Virginity

Where does our virginity come from? Where does it go when we 'lose' it? 
'Virginity: a (very) brief history' is a short animated film that explores the origin story, present and potential future of virginity as we understand it
This was my first long-term animation project, from the end of the first year of my BA. I researched the history and present of virginity as a social construct and condensed my findings into a short animation. The video shown above is a re-mastered version of this university project that was displayed as part of the Here and Now arts festival arranged by the Her og Der mentorship programme.
